Help test the Built Environment Carbon Database

The Built Environment Carbon Databsase is entering the testing phase to make sure that the service is fit for purpose and is aligned with industry practice. We’re now calling for built environment industry professionals to test the database with their data.

BRE has joined over 900 employers in signing up to the Race at Work Charter, an initiative designed by Business in the Community (BITC) for businesses to collectively commit to improving equal opportunities for Black, Asian, Mixed Race and ethnically diverse employees in the UK.

Latest housing data finds that 1.9 million households affected by overheating

New housing data in the English Housing Survey shows that in 2020-21, 1.9 million (8%) households reported that at least one part of their home got uncomfortably hot. Almost 100% of households with a conservatory reported being uncomfortably hot as did 63% of households with a loft conversion
