Building Energy Performance Strategic Support
We support housing and property professionals plan and deliver net zero buildings and effective retrofits. Drawing upon our expertise in energy modelling, coupled with our deep market insight and sustainability expertise, we provide authoritative technical, commercial and environmental due diligence to support informed decision making.
Contact usDecisions to improve and decarbonise are best grounded in measured evidence and outcomes. We can help you measure your carbon footprint, the thermal performance of your walls, your impact on building occupants and users and the positive impact that recycling and reuse of materials can have across your refurbishment or demolition projects. This provides the foundation for you to confidently act and communicate about your decarbonise journey.
Post Occupancy Evaluation
We evaluate how your building/homes performs in-use (e.g. newly constructed or post-retrofit) using POE. This will generate insight on the effectiveness of a building’s design, how occupants are using the building/systems, etc. and this is particularly useful when piloting a new specification or adopting new technologies / systems. We provide bespoke POE services suited to client’s needs, project characteristics and budget.

Building Performance Evaluation
We offer a range of building performance evaluation services to assess the 'as-built' performance of buildings/homes (newly constructed or retrofitted) and support to address performance gaps. We develop bespoke approaches to suit project needs, drawing on our experience in delivering in-situ U-value assessments, evaluation of whole house heat loss performance, thermal imaging, air tightness testing, etc. We also offer in-use monitoring to assess energy performance and trends in internal comfort conditions and air quality.

Carbon Assessment & Performance Verification
We provide a range of carbon-based assessments, allowing you to be open and evidenced about the carbon performance of your building or product. We can also provide guidance around procurement, allowing you to select the most suitable materials for your building or product. We can also undertake third-party audit to verify a net zero carbon assessment for an organisations buildings and assets.

Site Productivity Assessment
We will help your management team to pinpoint where time has been wasted or activities haven’t been efficient during a construction process, evidenced by hard data. We do this using CaliBRE, our site efficiency and productivity measurement tool that diagnoses and quantifies the breakdown of working hours into ‘waste time’, non-value added time and value-added time. This can lead to reduced delivery times, lower construction costs and reduced environmental impacts.
