M&E engineering firm BSD has become the first SME business to be assessed and certificated under BRE Global’s BIM level 2 Business Systems Certification Scheme. With BIM level 2 becoming a requirement of all government building procurement programmes in 2016, being able to demonstrate that policies and procedures are in place to comply with PAS1192-2:2013 can deliver competitive advantage. It can also speed up the prequalification questionnaire process. BRE’s BIM level 2 certification scheme is the ideal route to confirm this compliance.
