BRE’s training business, the BRE Academy, has won the Training & Skills Provider of the Year award at the Hertfordshire Building and Construction Awards 2017. Judged by a panel of Hertfordshire’s leading business people and entrepreneurs, the awards celebrate the best of building, engineering and construction works that have taken place in Hertfordshire over the past 14 months. Director of the BRE Academy, Pauline Traetto said “Based in Hertfordshire the BRE Academy is a global provider of built environment related training and education programmes. We are very pleased to be recognised by our local market in this way, particularly at a time when new skills are needed more than ever to meet the demands of the significant building and infrastructure pipeline in the county.” Other winners included Amcell Building Company for the Sustainable Build Award, Jarvis Contracting for the Health & Safety Award and Asbestosafe for the Innovation Award.
