    We are pleased to invite buildingSMART members and their guests to attend the buildingSMART International spring summit. The 3 day event will take place from Monday 23 March to Wednesday 25 March 2015 at BRE, Garston, Watford, (London) UK.

    The summit is a unique opportunity to meet with world leaders in the development and delivery of openBIM. We expect all the buildingSMART chapters from around the world to be represented, providing an opportunity for experts to share knowledge for further enhancement of buildingSMART’s openBIM processes and standards.

    There will be plenary sessions giving information about the most recent standards, processes, tools and projects, as well as working sessions dealing with key themes such as;

    • Building Processes
    • IFC 4
    • Compliance
    • Infrastructure
    • The BuildingSMART Data Dictionary

    The summit is limited to 150 places and is aimed at buildingSMART members. However non-members who have a keen interest in the development and delivery of openBIM may also attend.

    Once you have booked what days your are attending you will receive an e mail directing you to 'Doodle' which will enable you to select which session/s you would like to attend. N.B. as attendance is restricted due to room sizes please select your choices ASAP as those who do not, will be allocated sessions by the buildingSMART team

    How to get to BRE

    By car

    use post code WD25 9NH. Or print off our map and directions

    By bus and train:
    Travel to Watford Junction via London Midlands or  Buses from bus stop 5 outside the station link to the BRE. Uno bus 662 will drop you right at the centre of our site. Or, Arriva 321 service towards St. Albans passes close to BRE (ask for the St.Michael's School stop and see walking route from 321 bus stop to our entrance). Alternatively, taxis are available from outside the station.

    By bike:
    For cycle-friendly routes from Watford Junction Station to BRE Watford. Our security staff can direct you to onsite bike parking, showers and changing facilities, which you are welcome to use when you arrive.
