What are the advantages of the online course?

You can take the course at a time and location to suite you with interactive content and gain CPD hours.

Through a mixture of reading material and self-study work you will cover areas such as:

  • Introduction to BREEAM
  • BREEAM Basics
  • BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment categories and issues
  • The role of the assessor
  • Exam preparation and mock exams

The modules are structured in a way which means you will be able to complete them over a 4 week period before attending the classroom exam day which includes an opportunity to go through notes with one of our expert trainers.

Why BREEAM Domestic Refurb?

BREEAM is the environment assessment system which encourages improvement in the design and construction process. This version of the scheme provides methodology for those responsible for delivering sustainable domestic refurbishment projects. By becoming a BREEAM Domestic Refurb Assessor you can help building owners and occupiers reduce the environmental impacts of refurbishment and increase the sustainability of existing building stock. Further information about the scheme can be found here.

Watch out for future BREEAM courses coming online in the near future.
