BRE at Housing 2018

Attracting thousands of housing professionals, there has probably never been a more important time to attend Housing 2018, billed as ‘Europe’s largest and most diverse housing festival’. Issues such as housing quality, affordability and supply are vital for the future prosperity of our economy and for the health and wellbeing of people and communities.

BRE is a sponsor of the Insight Theatre this year, and our presentation throughout the three days of the show include:

Quality, Resilient and Healthy Homes – Tuesday 26th June, 12.55-13.40hrs, Gwyn Roberts, BRE and Guy Thompson, MPA The Concrete Centre

Strategic Steps for the Productive Delivery of Housing – Tuesday 26th June, 15.40-16.25hrs, Simon Cross, BRE

New Assessment Methodology and Certification Scheme for Modular Homes – Wednesday 27th June, 13.35-14.20hrs, David Gall, BRE

Housebuilding: More Than a Numbers Game, Delivering Quality Homes – Thursday 28th June, 9.15-10.00hrs, Jenni Dudley, BRE and Roger Walker, Cygnus Homes

We are also partners in the Offsite Village, a new feature for this year, which we will be using to highlight our new certification scheme for modular homes featured in the session above.

Other highlights include our Home Quality Mark, featured in two sessions above. The new version – HQM One – will be launched mid-August 2018, and a few details of the thinking that has gone into the methodology are here.
